Inside The Box- About

INSIDE THE BOX

The new season premieres August 10th!

“Inside the Box” is a podcast hosted by a woman, about women, and intended for all who are eager to understand the plight of modern day feminism. We believe the modern day female is a renaissance woman that is informed, intelligent, always a class-act, but doesn't mind a good fart joke.  So, we have developed a podcast that we hope will be a forum for an open and honest discussion and an in depth look at life as we know it and what it means to survive in our modern world as both a female and a human. As we stroll into the 2nd season, our episodes will vary based on questions asked in the interview process with a carefully selected group of women. I asked the same series of questions to 11 different women. Each question will be the theme of an episode and will feature a forward from me and all the guests' answers. The questions vary from the serious to the silly, as do the answers! Our guests are people we believe are on the cutting edge of their industry and have something valuable to offer our listeners. “Inside the Box” is hosted by Andrea Chesley. Andrea is a comedian, writer, and blogger with a background in just about everything and an insatiable need for knowledge and laughter. We hope you'll laugh, we hope you'll cry, we hope you'll feel less... alone.

Meet your host, Andrea Chesley:
This was taken a while back.

Andrea Chesley is... I just wrote that phrase, "Andrea Chesley is," got very existential, and pondered what Andrea Chesley actually is. Then I Googled "existential" to make sure I actually knew what that meant. If that, alongside all the information on this website, doesn't tell you enough about me, let me know, I guess.

INTRODUCING THE GUESTS OF THE 2ND SEASON OF 'INSIDE THE BOX'

Meet Stephani Casey

Stephani is a Brooklyn born chef on the adventure of a lifetime. One half of “TindertoSprinter” on www.tindertosprinter.com, she is traveling the country with her Tinder found love, Ryan, in their converted sprinter van, Louie, with no mapped out route and no timeline. Meet Charlotte Crow
Writing, spicy food, red wine and good books are what get me out of bed.  Math, Tex-Mex, decaf and alarm clocks are not. I'm a farmer's daughter and a fourth-generation Arizona native.  (Translation: If it's under 70 degrees, this girl is gonna need a coat.) My parents are some of the best people you will ever hope to know, as well as my biggest inspiration for pursuing my dreams. I am also a girlfriend, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, cousin and best friend.  These titles are what bring pure joy into my life. These titles are also what make me want to pull my hair out at times.  Either way, I wouldn't give them up for the world. I love my life.  And I mean that in the least Lifetime movie way possible. My life is messy, undecided and sometimes frustrating. But it's all mine. It is also full of love, beer-through-your-nose kind of laughter and people who think I am fun and worthy of their time.  They even laugh at my jokes once in awhile!  I have surrounded myself with people that have no problem believing in the person I am or supporting the one I aspire to be. I can only hope that I can be all, or even some, of these things to the people that I encounter in life.  Whether we meet in-person or you just happen to be browsing on the web, if my words are able to offer a deeper thought or genuine smile, then my job is well on its way to being done. Charlotte is the writer for the popular blog, Charlotte's Little Web and is now also a contributing writer for the popular blog, HelloGiggles.

Meet Sierra Delgado
City girl turned desert dweller, Sierra has found a perfect place for herself in the small town of Joshua Tree CA. After travelling throughout south America and Europe (completing a yoga teacher certification, working on a farm, helping remodel a 15th century castle and gardening at a chateau on the canal du midi along the way) Sierra felt like settling into a life like the one she experienced while travelling: working in the sunshine, taking lots of walks, exploring new places, making friends and eating amazing food. All that good stuff and a comfortable place to call home all brought her to her current lifestyle. She relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area to the high desert of southern California to find a simpler life more in tune with nature. Sierra walks a fine line between gypsy and homemaker and hopes to never have to choose one or the other! Fave wanderlust activities include: hiking, long drives to nowhere and back, stopping at every thrift store, daydreaming about French pastries and the tireless search for the worlds prettiest hot springs. Homemaker hobbies are: cooking with fresh veggies and meat from a local farm, caring for her many houseplants and cacti, and creating a home that is a thrifted mix of mid century modern design, strong southwest vibes and a little bit French country. She lives with her partner in life, travel and love, John Bunney, they share a lovely little cabin with a million dollar view set on 5 beautiful desert acres.
